A lot of people talk about how domains are “virtual real estate”. And for the most part I feel its true. If you invest in the right property, you can hold it while it appreciates or build it up and increase its value significantly. I’ve purchased and sold my share of domains, both for my personal portfolio and for my employer.
One thing I’ve learned is that the old saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is certainly true in the domainers market. Acquiring or loosing a domain can be a very personal matter for some, and when values reflect the buyers or sellers emotions, the marketplace can swing wildly.
Sadly, I’ve decided to put some of the domains I handle on the market. I had have some plans for most of these domains but since I’m a one man team it is very real that I may never get around to developing some. So, I’ve decided to sell them with asking prices that I’d feel comfortable letting them go at. I’ve also placed the domains on their own page for easy future reference.
