I love how Last.fm keeps a database of every song listened to. I feel cheated while listening to Pandora and Slacker because my songs are not being logged. Also, on last.fm you can comment on each song and see what others think about it.

Since Pandora is US centric, Last.fm should be the winner worldwide, the information it contains is so enormous that sometimes is scary. I have been able to find stuff that was only released in home-made “cassette” in the late 80’s in Madrid/Spain. Quite a demonstration IMHO.

I’ve never saw anything about Slacker so should be also quite US centric…

I’m looking forward to reading your findings. I’m a Pandora user myself.

Anywhere.fm is another worthwhile site you might want to check out. The concept is a bit different than the sites you listed. You basically upload your own music so you can listen to it anywhere. You can also listen to the music other users have uploaded using the “Friend Radio” option.
