Dreamhost, not so much

For those wondering why yesterday’s post was uploaded half-way through the day today, it’s simply because my webhost was down for almost a half day yesterday. I did have it completely written and uploaded to another webservice just so I met my own requirements for the 30 days of blog posts challenge I’ve placed myself under. I could have easily just said “well, my host is down. guess I’ll write the post tomorrow”. But, I am partially doing this challenge to build habits. My host being down was a simple roadblock that would eventually be resolved, and instead of using it as an excuse I went ahead and did what I could.
BTW – Dreamhost informed me it was their DNS servers failing. Not sure if it was hardware or software, but they fixed it, refreshed the server and we were good to go.
